Wildberries has reopened its warehouse in Shushary. The new logistics center with an area of more than 100 thousand square meters will accelerate delivery, expand the range and strengthen the position of e-commerce in the Northwest region.

The main logistics complex of Wildberries, located in Shushary, has resumed operation in St. Petersburg. So far, the warehouse operates according to the FBS model "from the seller's warehouse", but other supply chains will begin to be connected in the near future. This actually means a complete restart of the facility after a long downtime.

After the reconstruction, the area of the center exceeded 100,000 square meters, which is significantly more than the temporary marshalling yard opened by the company after a fire in early 2024. It is the temporary warehouse in the Moskovsky district that will now be gradually closed: its capacity did not allow servicing the entire volume of the region and limited the possibilities of sellers and buyers.

According to Konstantin Derbenev, Director of e-commerce Development at KIT transport company, the return of the warehouse in Shushary is of strategic importance for the entire north-western logistics. According to him, the facility is capable of serving not only St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, but also the wider macroregion. For customers, this means faster delivery, convenient return conditions, and an expanded product range. For sellers, restarting a warehouse is a chance to boost sales due to minimal delivery times and predictable logistics.

The new center will become a key point for the marketplace to operate in the region. With its launch, Wildberries is regaining the ability to process large volumes of orders quickly, ensuring sustainable supply and improved service. According to experts, this event will have a positive impact on the development of e-commerce in the Northwestern Federal District and will allow market participants to adapt faster to the growing demand.
