Ozon will launch a new sorting center in Pushkino, Moscow Region, in the first quarter of 2027. The area of the facility is about 65,000 sq. m. The daily capacity is several million orders. The marketplace's own investments in technological equipment will amount to about 6 billion rubles out of a total of 11 billion. This is part of a large-scale expansion of logistics amid a 2.2-fold year-on-year increase in orders in the Moscow region.

Ozon continues to build the logistics infrastructure without pausing. The new sorting center in Pushkino, the sixth major marketplace facility in the Moscow Region, will open in the first quarter of 2027.

The area of the facility will be about 65,000 square meters. m by gender. The daily processing capacity is several million orders. The total investment in construction will exceed 11 billion rubles, of which 6 billion are the marketplace's own investments in technological equipment.

The technological base is not just words. Ozon is putting 3D sorting machines on a new facility: each one is capable of processing up to 10,000 parcels per hour, which is 2-3 times faster than manual sorting. At the same time, narrow—band sorters (NBS) are being introduced, which increase productivity in a limited area - this is critical at the cost of Moscow industrial land.

Alexander Startsev, Operating Director of Ozon production, explained the dynamics: "By the end of 2025, the number of regular Ozon customers and online orders on the platform in Moscow and the Moscow Region increased 2.2 times year-on-year. Each customer accounts for an average of 35% more orders than a year earlier."

Pushkino is already Ozon's main logistics hub in the Moscow region. There are two large fulfillment centers with a total area of more than 150,000 square meters, storing over 60 million goods and processing more than 1.5 million orders daily. The new sorting center will add capacity specifically for sorting and transferring parcels for delivery — the last link before the courier and the PVZ.

For suppliers and importers working with Ozon, the construction of a new center means one thing: the platform is preparing for further volume growth and intends to keep delivery times even with a twofold increase in the number of orders. Sellers who are already planning to expand their product range and volumes through Ozon can strategize that the platform's logistics capacity will be significantly higher than current ones in 2027.
